Adoptable Advice?

So I'm thinking about doing adoptables, but I'm not totally sure how to go about them. Is there anything specific I should know to go about this or what? I know I'm going to make them be for points now to help me get a membership, but I'm thinking later that I might make them cost money since I need some for conventions and cosplay I want to wear for them. Help please?

Good, good. I know the feeling haha. Tumblr is crazy addictive. So I've see you cosplay on facebook and I have to say I'm crazy jealous haha. /w\'''' Its so cool. I wanna cosplay again but I can never save up enough money fast enough haha. I usually spend it before I save enough.
